Output Selection:

I ordered this instead of getting a lighting stator, and a light for my dirtbike. It works great out in the trails with the dirtbike and I can use it for my mountain bike as well. I would love for this to be rechargeable but I think they make another version that is already. I always carry 2 sets of batteries so it is never a problem. I have a set of 1500mah and they last me about 1:30 hrs on full brightness. But the second and third mode is plenty and I can get 2 hours out of them no problem. I would expect with the recommended batteries (2200 mah) to push the full 2 hours at the brightest setting.

This light is absolutely amazingly bright and is very versatile. The image I posted is at the brightest. This is brighter than car headlights or motorcycle headlights. The remote control function is awesome and convenient i can keep my hand on the handlers and toggle through low med or high and turbo. I usually like having it medium or low with occasional momentary turbo. On dark lonely sketchy roads i use high like in my photo. I've love that i can use my flashlight 18650 batteries too. I carry spare batteries but have not been out long enough to drain batteries as it has great battery life too. The concept of buy once cry once applies here. The light is pricier than other cheap ones but honestly if you bought 4 cheap ones it'll cost the same, be heavier, take up more space on your handlebar and not light up as good as this and you won't have the ability to use spare batteries or remote switch option. All in all this is a great buy and well worth the money. You can even use it as a home flashlight not just for your bike.

It is bright, the batteries last quite a while and it stays put on my bike. The only potential downside is that it sticks up pretty high above the bars.
