    My first, and recent Fenix flashlight was the TAC 45. It did a nice job. I misplaced it and noticed this light was double the power. The TAC was on par with my SureFires, maybe a bit better. On the FD I am all about the best equipment in challenging situations. So with my TAC 45 being MIA. I SAW THE TK 35 with double the power for a not big difference in price so I ordered it. Wow! A good improvement! Nite, it is a lot bigger than the TAC an SureFires , a bit bulky in hand but it throws such a better beam. The trees in the photo are 75+ yards away. I also included a comparison to the SureFire which was about the size of my MIA TAC 45. So, I recommend this light especially for those that need good lighting in challenging situations. For civilian use maybe a bit over the top but for those in FD, PD, or our armed services, this flashlight is one to own!

    Amazing light, battery can go fast on turbo setting but throws light for amazing distances! Get rechargeable batteries for this and it will treat you right. Great build quality, nice durable aluminum case-body and decent sized lanyard on end of light. It will probably be the most expensive flashlight of its size you will ever have bought but if you need it for whatever you won't be disappointed!! Only con is it gets quite warm on the lens end when operating so be care not to burn yourself.

    Super, super bright. The more "floody" pattern means that it's more useful up close and that's a huge asset to me. It's great when you need to light up a relatively large area that a narrower beam just doesn't work for. The physical switch is awesome since the batteries don't get drained over time. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is the overall fit. It doesn't feel terribly comfortable to use the thumb switch. Still, just a niggle. Overall, a great light.
