I collect flashlights and now lanterns. Lumintop is a brand that I have gotten to know and trust over the last three years. I have many of their lights. If you ever happen to need customer service, which is unlikely, they offer great customer service. This little lantern runs on 4 14500 rechargeable Li-Ion batteries. Moonlight output is a nice 2 lumens, low is 10, med is 150, high is 400, and the turbo is 650 lumens. It also has a strobe which is 400 lumens. Regular AA batteries can be used. The charging cable is a USB C which is better than the micro. It is easy and fast to charge. Even my wife is impressed with this light. We are happy to have it and think you will like it too.

When there is a power outage, I’m scrambling to gather various flashlights and battery banks to create some temporary lighting in the house. I usually sit flashlights on their tails on the countertop and the beam bounces off the ceiling filling the room with light. This LUMINTOP camping lantern is a much better way! With this product I can get a diffuse glow throughout the whole room rather than a harsh point source. I find that this works best when hanging by the hook, as the light cone angles the light downward. The color temperature is neutral; it’s not a warm color or a cool color — it’s right in between. I would prefer a bit warmer temp if I was using this for reading. Another unique feature is that the power button has a slight green glow on the logo when it is powered off. This makes it easier to find the flashlight in a pitch black room/tent.

This one is tiny and superpowered. It is the smallest I've seen and puts out so very much light that I'm really impressed. That said, because it is so small, the battery life is not great in the higher settings. It is designed to be an emergency light, if you want it to last for hours and hours. I really love this and it's the best very small lantern I've seen, but for my money, I say go with a medium or large sized lantern that will last and last on the medium setting. I don't want to be sitting in the dark and I suspect some others may agree. It is identically priced to a couple of really great mid-size lanterns that recharge and have great light output and great battery life. This is an emergency light only, not meant to be used for many many hours, unless you have a battery pack for it or you bring extra batteries. It's five solid stars for what it is, but I say get a larger one if you are going camping or prepping for a summer power outage. Good luck in your search.
