    The D2 is very compact and has a very long throw with enough spill to be usable close up. I bought two of these and added 21700 batteries for added brightness and impressively longer run times. The 21700 battery makes this light much better. When I want to just carry one flashlight in my pack this is the one I take. This is my first Lumintop light and I'm very impressed!

    Overall this is a great value no frills outdoor light. The lumen output wont blow you away but 1k lumens is plenty. I put the 18350 tube on it and use it as a tiny pocket thrower. There is just something about the value and simple nature of the light I really like. But I love it with the smaller tube.

    I bought this nifty little flashlight as an added safety measure for my husband to take on his Kayak outings. It's small enough to carry in his vest, so it's easily accessible. It is very bright, and the beam reaches a long way in the dark. As the ad says, it really can light up an entire room so it will come in handy if the power goes out. He's had it three days and so far so good. Thus, he appreciated the gift and didn't tease me for trying to keep him safe. We both recommend this flashlight.
