I'm amazed by how small and light it is. I've been carrying much larger and heavier lights for the past few weeks and this feels crazy small. I'm also surprised by how light it is because my only other FW series light was an FW3S which weighed a lot. It really is amazing. I highly recommend the o-ring mod for the tailcap. I actually use a 3030 led gasket sanded down about halfway and that works great as well. Purely my preference, but I think it would look even better with that bunny off the button.

I love the XPL HI 5000k. Clean tint. No green, no yellow. All the power. If I am not mistaken one can change the max ramp from step 130 (default) to 149 in order to drive the LEDs @3A (~1200lm). My FW3X with 60 degrees celsius upper thermal limit then throttles down to a thermally sustainable 600lm where it stays for around 2h with Samsung 35E.
