Lumintop FWAA 1400 Lumens 14500 EDC Flashlight

This light is fantastic and it's very small. Some say this should be a single emitter light, but after seeing it in action, I think multiple emitters are fine. This is my first Anduril 2 light. Anduril 2 fixes the shortcomings of its predecessor, replacing Muggle mode with a simple UI and making it difficult to accidentally change settings and enter unwanted flickering modes. But it does mean more complicated configuration. No big deal though, it's the same or better for everyday use. I can't wait for the accessories from FWAA. It desperately needs a glowing gasket. A stainless steel bezel would be better, and there are more color options or body materials. I think my only complaint is that the anodized finish and no knurling on the body make this light and slippery, need a firmer grip.

Awesome little 14500 pocket rocket. For those who don't think it's worth carrying because it's too small. It is the light that lasts longer than you might think because you don't have to drive it very high. Perfect for everyday use (Because I can carry it in any pocket). Another great transaction.

First, a triple emitter light in a 14500 size is kind of dumb. This thing overheats after 5 seconds of turbo, the beam is super flooded, the battery life is bad, all predictable things. However, if you like the FW3A but wish it was smaller at the expense of runtime and thermals, this is the light for you.

FWAA is a great light and the user interface is designed to play. The light output is incredible, but on one of my two FWAA the cap on the LED side is not ok and out of center. This should be recognized by quality control. That's why a squint is missing.

I am attracted to small, powerful enthusiast lights. This is exactly what I expected. The output for the size is phenomenal. It will get hot extremely quick when on turbo, but that is part of the attraction. This is a mini version of a multi emitter hot rod. The Andruil ui can be as simple as you want it, after you have figured out how to program the rather complex programming procedures in the advanced mode. It also has a simple mode available, in fact it is shipped with simple mode the default. The fun is going into advanced mode and see how many things you can adapt to your style. I got it and switched it to advanced, calibrated the temperature then set the thermal limit. Now it will live in my shirt pocket. Half the fun was setting it up, the other half was using it. This light is more for the person who wants a light that is technically advanced and has the output of much bigger lights than the person who wants a simple on/off pen light. The beam is very floody, definitely not a thrower. Battery life is not the best if you're constantly hitting turbo, but for a aa size battery (14500) that is to be expected.
