Probably going to get the gt mini xpl-hi now and review that one!     Knowing the build quality from Lumintop is always excellent, I bought this one to convert yo the thrower it’s name implies. The XHP50.2 pulls high amperage so I knew the driver would be ideal to power the relatively new Luminus SFT40 and power it it does! 10.5 Amps to the domeless emitter for 2100 lumens, much tighter beam profile with appropriate gains in reach. I hand sanded and polished the textured reflector for a more defined hot spot. Sweet! I also suggested to Lumintop that this could be a good seller for them. We’ll see.

    This flashlight is amazing. I have at least 40 lights and this is by far my favorite. You get flood and throw from an 18650? Smooth ramping and good heat mitigation. I only wish it had on board charging but that's no biggie. It's a great search light or close floodlight. I take it dog walking at night and it puts other flashlights to shame. Really great construction also.

    I really like this pro model. It has great throw and it has great spill. I also like the Samsung 35E 18650 that I bought with the light. Great light. (Hope this helps someone)

    It is a great little compact/thrower light that's for sure. I really like it and I keep it in my truck just for a back up light. I love that the power button is always lit up so you know how the battery I'd doing and you can find the light in the darkness too. Very handy

    Lights up everything. An on-off push button flashlight, it isn't! It has a computer in it. Keep the kinda confusing instructions handy, you'll need it, trust me.
