I was surprised by the quality of the machining and finish on this light . Some of the best I have seen . The threads for the body tubes and tailcap are really well done . There is nothing to complain about except maybe the throwy nature of this light ! Oh wait , it's supposed to be a thrower ! In which case it throws rather well . Maybe not up there with the larger 2x18650 lights with big reflectors . But certainly doing it in a small form factor . If your looking for a pocket thrower ? Here is one . Just bare in mind that this light was not made for protected 18650 ( protection circuit ) . But rather for un protected 18650 batteries . Trying to use protected batteries will result in a crush fit . If you order the light with the battery ( 18650 ) , then know that the battery I got tested well against Sony and LG .
