Brought this light for my son's bike. I have the Nirecore Br35 on my bike. I love that this light has that cut off shroud and he will be seen but won't be blinding others when he rides. The light is extremely bright and has brightness modes. Durability is great and mounting was a breeze.

My background: I have had more than 10 road cycling front lights (e.g. Busch Muller, cateyes, cygolite, magic shine, light and motion, serfas, and others) in my lifetime and i am still seeking for the perfect light that has a balance between consistent light output matching claimed duration, mounting sturdiness, light profile, and light pattern. Here’s my review of this nitecore br25. It's my favorite bike light. (1)The slim profile design doesn’t look too bulky on the handlebar. I have own some that looks like a truck mounted on top. (2) the light output of “turbo mode” does provide “mostly” constant 1400 lumen as claimed. When i say mostly it is because the light output does fade a tiny bit after about 5 min and it is a constant beam as long as the battery is >50% battery. (3) the beam pattern shines below the front wheel, the field, and the sides are very good! This is the most i like about it.

Nitecore BR25 felt sturdy. I really like the beam cutoff built in. Bright wide beam. I ended up returning it only because of the mounting. I ride a OneWheel and attach the light on my board or a chest mount I use. Since the light is more at the traditional flashlight it’s a couple inches longer than the average bike light. Only mount that it comes with is the round handlebar type. With that said it being a little longer than I need and not the mount that I need for it I ended up returning. On a bike I would have kept it.

Looks great, great packaging, feels sturdy. Its on the heavier side but thats expected for the battery size. After a couple of uses I can only emphasis on how good it is.
