This is one of my favorite flashlights in my collection. It's bright for inside and outside adventures, it has a good clean beam. Runtime is very good for it's size and lumen output. It offers all these features for an excellent price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this. It's a great flashlight.

I own several Nitecore flashlights. The P12 and an HC30. I like the 18650 battery form factor in both lights and haven’t had any issues with them during years of ownership. I saw this model coming out with the newer 21700 battery and USB C charging and was immediately intrigued. The price was right so I ordered one up. The construction is typical Nitecore, which is to say very sturdy and well-built. What I’ve come to expect in their products. It comes with a push-on clip, a holster, and a lanyard so there are several different options to equip the light. I also like the fact that it can tail stand and the power button is on the side. Makes for a nice contrast to the “tactical” style of my old P12. The price is nice and USB C charging is a welcome addition. No external battery charger needed.
