Nitecore TM10K 6 x XHP35 HD LED 10000 Lumens Rechargeable Search Light

When I first ordered and received this unit based primarily on the outstanding lumens specifications, I initially was a little put off by the unusual design and saved the packaging material for a possible return. I previously was use to round tactical lights with a tail switch that I could quickly activate in a emergency. I figured the box rectangle shape would be quite a different animal to adjust to and it sat in the box for almost 2 months before I got around to field testing it. So I found that the belt holster clip that comes with unit is solidly made and actually made it possible to store the light in a manner that you always know exactly where the key switches are when it is removed form the holster. This was important to me to not have to fumble around searching for a button to activate it. And unlike most of the lights I have seen that are as powerful as this "little Monster", they do not have a tail switch for really quick access to the brightest mode. The compact size is a real plus for me as it seldom will brush against any type of barriers, in tight spaces; like getting in and out of a car. After about two weeks of use, my brain was trained to locate the switches on the unit without hesitation. The digital electronics provide clear indication of charging status and you are able to lock and unlock the unit to prevent accidental activation or perhaps make sure little fingers don't play with it. The unit can get quite warm when it runs on the brightest option. After three weeks, I was completely sold on the merits of this well designed light and I honestly cannot think of any drawbacks. I do get quite a bit of "wow" from many who see the unit in operations and of course they ask about getting one for them selves. Too bad they are not more affordable but worth the price in my opinion.

This little guy is awesome! I have a TM26 and it’s a great flashlight. The TM10K is amazing. I love the size and battery life. The light output is phenomenal. The only thing I don’t really like is the throw of the light. It’s a very wide beam; I’d like to see something this powerful have a bit more focus. But if you want a compact torch that can put out a wall of light, this is for you.
