    So, I now have several Olight torches and this is a brilliant (both literally and figuratively) torch. I love my S1R HCRI at a thumb size and wanted to replace an old 18650 sized ultrafire torch that has been rather unreliable with the light levels randomly changing. The Baton Pro is lighter, feels better built, is easier to charge and smaller. The Baton Pro also is so much more efficient as well. The old light was supposed to be a 500 lumen (max) yet doesn't seem that much and lasted less than 5 mins before becoming too hot to handle and turns off. The Baton Pro has a 4x brighter mode but when it is on it's main high level lasts hours at 600 lumens. Yes the Olight is more expensive by a factor of 2 but is well worth it.

    The Baton Pro is great as an EDC light for casual carry, it can light up an entire room with no problem. I also liked the 5 lumen mode for light reading in the dark, or just going to bathroom in middle of the night.

    Some lights give a long throw and others a flood but this does both extremely well. No big bright hotspots even indoors and it lights up the tree tops in my yard over 250ft away. Multiple brightness modes to suit any situation. I also have the m2r warrior on my tool which does throw the light further and a baldr. Different lights with different purposes but this is my favorite.
